Hello all,

GoJetterBoy after 2 years of fighting has finally lost the energy to fight, I’m currently sat with him in hospital, having come in a few days earlier for pain management.

I really need a handhold right now...

You may not be ready yet but please go the the Bereavment board on here. Sadly there are MNers who know exactly what you are going through. Some of them have been supporting each other for years.

GoJetterGirl I read your thread this morning and have been thinking of you and your darling boy all day. I am so very sorry for your loss. Your love for him shone out of the screen and if we could all feel it just from reading your words he undoubtedly felt it as you sat with him.

Life can be so unspeakably cruel at times.

I wish I could say something useful.or comforting. Know that you are one strong woman to use this as a source of support. I wish I could bring him back for you. But it sounds like he had a fantastic life with an incredible mum.
Be kind to yourself. Treat yourself as your best friend would treat you. Don't expect anything of yourself. This is an unusual situation.
