To ask for a handhold?

Hello all,

GoJetterBoy after 2 years of fighting has finally lost the energy to fight, I’m currently sat with him in hospital, having come in a few days earlier for pain management.

I really need a handhold right now...

Life really is so incredibly cruel. My heart is breaking for you OP , sending you all of my love and you genuinely will be in my thoughts.

Your boy sounds like a gorgeous little soul , how lucky are you to be his mummy.

My daughter is just a little older than GoJetterBoy (8) and we spent most of last year on and off the paediatric oncology ward.

Childhood cancer is the most desperately unfair hand to be dealt.

I hope GoJetterBoy got to participate in Beads of Courage . My girl’s collection is so very precious to her, and to me.

Sending love and light at this terribly sad time. The world is lucky to know your darling boy, and he is lucky to have such a loving mama.

Another person checking in to send love and strength to you - I cannot imagine how painful and scary this is for you, and how tired you must be. You are already unimaginably strong for everything you have endured and that strength will not leave you, even when it feels like it will - I'll be thinking about you today.

My DS is now 18 - GoJetters weren’t a thing when he was little but I remember all the programmes and characters he loved. Those times snuggled up in the sofa watching Scooby Do or Ben 10 for the umpteenth time seem like such a long time ago,

Thinking of you both today and hope your beautiful brown-eyed boy is comfortable.

My DS loved the colour pink at that age too. He also loved doing science experiments. Perhaps gojetterboy would like to hear the story of when DS got a ‘make your own volcano’ kit which erupted quite forcefully and ended up all over our kitchen ceiling! He thought it was hilarious!
