Me and my friend were having an add discussion today, I am interested in people's thoughts on this.
So social media is a great big source of people keeping in touch which is brilliant if you have friends or family overseas etc.
But with all this stuff about being kind and Caroline flack etc it has me thinking.
On Facebook for example
Someone can take a photo of anyone, and post what they like for eg
"Share this disgusting person etc they have done x y or z"
Without anyone knowing the full story this person has become a victim of online cyber bullying
But for all we know "joe blogs is innocent"
And the poster is the one in the wrong and blogs has simply not done what they wanted.
After a recent other friend of mine who is a victim of domestic violence got away from her husband, she was in her new local town centre, someone online posted an innocent photo showing the day in this photo was her.
He found her, and he almost killed her.
So my question is when you are out and about and you snap a photo if there are other people in it do you blur their faces out or crop them out or leave it because it is not your problem and you have no issues violating another's privacy?
