Hi all

How do you feel about giving yourself, your loved ones(children, elderly) CBD?

My daughter has epilepsy, it's been almost miraculous for several other children that have intractable seizures and failed multiple meds. I know several families who are currently forking out £2k a month for legal private prescriptions of CBD/THC, Billy Caudwell's mum currently in the middle of a legal challenge to get his NHS prescription reinstated. We were lucky and the first med we tried worked, but a third of epilepsy patients have intractable seizures and it is complete bullshit to wring hands about side effects when they could literally die of SUDEP at any moment and are having hundreds of seizures a day.

@Patchworksack
I don't where abouts you live but there is a place in Waltham cross. It sells everything and I know a person who only sells CBD. As my dad has heart disease I usually get it for him and her the CBD liquid for my daughters

Thanks, I'm not personally in need! CBD is widely and legally available now but the rules are changing and a lot of products which do not have a license will disappear over the next year or so. The children involved in the #endourpain campaign need some THC, which can be legally prescribed (with a pretty stringent set of criteria) but the NHS won't prescribe or pay for currently.

I get mine from Tesco's. Its not super strength, but I'm saving that for the future in case I build up a tolerance.

It works for me. I’ve taken for a year and a half. I have an inflammatory condition and believe it helps. I take two or three times a week before bed and really helps to relax and get a good night sleep which we all know can b a problem for sleep deprivation. I also take during day for stress and anxiety. Have tried all strengths (5, 10 and 20%) I find 10% ‘Natural Health Goods’ ionline is best for me. I do not like taking chemical drugs and this is pure natural and vegan. I hope this helps other people who feel the same x

I have been considering/researching it lately for a young family member who is struggling with anxiety particularly when she is pre menstrual/menstruating. Has anyone used it for that and if so were there any benefits? Also does anyone have any experience of using both oil drops and vape and found one more effective than the other?

Do you mind if I ask a few questions Kmjc. How do you take it? When you say it helps for stress and anxiety do you take it for example in the morning and then feel less stressed/anxious than usual or do you take it when the stress and anxiety build up? When you take it do you feel a noticable calming affect or is it a case of you notice in hindsight that you coped better with situations after taking it. Thank you.
