To think how wasteful

I KNOW its none of my business how someone spends their money but i know someone whose not very well off, think phone bill/internet being cut off pretty much monthly, but has money for fags, weed, coke and spends every weekend pissed as local rugby club. She lives in a council maisonette, which is tiny, no garden etc. Her teenage son and 4 year old daughter have to share a room because its a two bed. Her DP came into a double figure amount of inheritance, which any one would be lucky to receive, which would of been a sizable deposit on a house. But theyve been wasting it on utter shit. Now i get treating yourself, and again i know its not my money, not my business but to buy a car, 70 inch tv, sofa and a designer dog. She only told me the other week how much she hates dogs and her daughter is terrified of them. I just think what a waste of an opportunity and money when they could be doing something much more worth while with it.

Only thing i'd be judging there is drug use and buying a dog knowing that the kid is terrified.

Everything else is just circumstancial and/or piss poor budgetting.

I feel sorry for the dog and her kids, esp the daughter.
