I'm waiting for surgery to remove retained pregnancy products and have started this evening with small stomach cramps. I have also been getting yellowy coloured discharge in my knickers all day and it is now coming out in larger amounts when I wipe. It also hurt a little to start weeing, but was fine once it started iyswim.

I know there is a risk of infection but I was only at the hospital yesterday and everything was okay then.

Can this wait until the morning do you think or should I be ringing our emergency gynecology unit? I know it sounds daft like why can't I just ring and check but I've got kids in the house so don't want to be dragging them out.

Phone your gynae/EPAU OP. They won’t bring you in unless absolutely necessary. take care x

Could well be the retained products expelling spontaneously. Does it smell bad do you have a temperature?

You need to get checked out as you’re at risk of infection, developing sepsis, and also heavy bleeding all of which can be fatal.
