Me and my partner both have it both feel absolutely dreadful. I’m washing hands constantly and using Dettol and sterizar on everything. Anything else I can do to make sure baby doesn’t catch it? Feeling very sorry for my self please be kind 😂

I got norovirus when my baby was 9 months- my hubby did too. She got a really mild form a day after me- was sick for about 4 hours then fine... are you breastfeeding? If so you'll pass on some protection hopefully. If not then don't worry it'll pass quickly and soon be forgotten, but I sympathise massively as Noro was horrific! X

JJSS123 · 22/02/2020 20:09

I don’t think it’s noro I had that when I was pregnant and I honestly thought I was going to die. I feel bad but not that bad 😂 I just don’t know what to do! Ive bruised my tailbone so i am on codeine so not breastfeeding now as it’s long term xx

Oh god. I feel for you.

I had a sickness bug when my DS were 4 and the other was 4 months.

Cried buckets because I felt so shit but you’ll be ok AND you may even laugh about it in months to come.

We still laugh at me vomiting and howling in the toilet 😂.

You’ll be ok Flowers

bob1985 · 22/02/2020 20:12

It's horrible, we had it when my baby was 10 months. She actually got it first and passed it over.

Unfortunately these things tend to be very contagious so the chances are it will go round everyone in the house. But you might get lucky

Tips, clean everything. Toys, towels, bedding. Hot washes. Bleach on surfaces , toilets etc.

Fluids and as much rest as you can get.

JJSS123 · 22/02/2020 20:14

Haha thank you 😩😩 I’m sure I’ll laugh about it at some point. It’s bloody hard especially now he’s on the move if I have to run to be sick I’ve got to make sure he’s safe and we have a dog too so I’ve been dragging him with me to keep them separate whilst I’m not in the room! The dog is soft as shit but I’d still never leave them together xx

My DS post his bug to me, single mum at the time. It was awful!
I remember quickly putting him down in the cot after a night bottle because I was going to throw up on his head.
Hope it passes quickly Thanks

About a month ago I had a horrible vomiting and diarrhoea bug. I'm a single parent to a 2 year old with no family. If I can get through it so can you Grin my sympathies though, I know it's bloody awful trying to get through it.

JJSS123 · 23/02/2020 12:47

Single parents I absolutely completely salute you it wasn’t so bad when it was just me tbat came down with it on Friday but then when my partner did on Saturday I was like oh my god and at one point we was both sat on the floor trying to change a dirty nappy both saying we couldn’t do it 😂🙈. Had a long sleep last night and feel a lot better today not 100% but better. Hope everyone’s okay xx
