To be excited for my new life!

Today I move house. Today I move away from my now ex partner and into my own home with our son.
It’s been the kind of relationship that’s never been right from the start but we’ve kept trying over and over. Well I had had enough so we talked and decided to separate.
I have a good job so have been able to rent us a lovely little house as well as pay childcare and everything else, so I feel really proud of myself :) I’m so excited to start our new life, just not looking forward to the physical move today!

It's great that you are viewing it this way. I'm sure that your Son is picking up on the positive vibes. Being unsettled after a move can be normal for children, or is he very little?

He’s 19 months. He had his first day at his new nursery yesterday and was absolutely fine all day and loved it. He’s been in the new house 3 times and had a good run round it so I’m hopeful he’ll be ok and settle. He’s with my friends this morning whilst I pack (play on MN!) then my sisters this afternoon and overnight.
I just ant to get everything sorted and right for when he comes home tomorrow
