I’m new to mumsnet, I’m currently 10 weeks pregnant with baby #4 but after my third child I had abnormal smear results (CIN 3) and had the LLETZ procedure done.
Ever since being pregnant with this baby I’ve heavily bled twice and just don’t feel right, my midwife said that you don’t usually get consultant referral unless you’ve had 2 procedures and a miscarriage?. I had an early scan at 6 weeks after the first bleed and the sonographer said the blood definitely wasn’t from the uterus, so surely it must be cervical right?. I’ve read so many stories about pre term birth after this procedure and even the consultant who carried it out said I could have complications if I got pregnant again.
I’ve been to see my GP today and he didn’t understand what I was concerned about. I’m so worried that something isn’t right but nobody seems to be that bothered -any advice I’m going out of my mind!.
I can’t even go to EPU as you can’t self refer... arghhhhh!
