Purchased a few products from "Babipur" my favourite ethical online shop and have recently discovered the amazing delight of Tony's Chocolonely which is just the best ever chocolate and genuinely I feel like I'm eating Willy Wonka chocolate when I have some. It's palm oil free, slave free, fairtrade etc and DELICIOUS.

DH and I are now off work for a few days and so had a drink this evening. I cracked open a bar and had a few pieces over about an hour and then wrapped up the bar. DH had a tiny piece but didn't want anymore.

The bar was sat next to me on the sofa and DH requests some more. I hand it over and I kid you not, he SCOFFS the rest in 2 minutes flat. He has form for this Angry he puts HUGE quantities of chocolate in his mouth which is just a waste!

I've told him off for not eating it properly and savouring it! He insists he's happy to scoff it Shock

AIBU to expect that it's eaten in a respectful way? Or are MNers a load of chocolate scoffers too? I'm ready to LTB.

My mum is like that. You got something nice in the house and she eats it like it is bread. Shove, shove shove, gone.

Just recently tried this. This chocolate is food of the gods and should be treated as such. Definitely yanbuGrin

Yanbu.

YANBU! I don’t like many types of posh chocs, it just isn’t my thing, but at Christmas I bought DH and the DCs some nice chocolates from Hotel Chocolat. Plus some chilli chocolate penguins for myself, to eat slowly over a few weeks.

Just after new year, I looked around for my chilli choc penguins. DH and the DCs has had theirs wrapped as presents and mine were just on the side, unwrapped. I think I even told DH that they were for me.

He’d ‘forgotten’ that they were mine and already scoffed the lot. I was very pissed off.

Food of the gods indeed, a little goes a long way in terms of taste - I think most chocolate is like this and you don't get "more" flavour by shoving more in your mouth!!
