I think she is a robust and domineering individual who is benefiting from a culture led by a special adviser who is aggressive and inconsiderate. So she feels emboldened by the "get rid of them!" culture and feels she can say and do anything she wants under the cover of "let's streamline things and get things done quicker".

Cummings' "fire the old Whitehall lot" policy is what's driving this.

No, I don't believe so. Frankly, her political views are so obnoxious that her sex and/or skin colour isn't even on the long list of reasons to despise her.

She's probably the biggest hypocrite in the cabinet after Johnson. And that's saying something among that lot.

Dominic Cummings is running this country and, as Miss Patel is only interested in herself, she's riding on his coat tails to further her career. She's so smug, isn't she.
