I found a swollen lymph node in my neck around this time last year. After about 4 weeks I was at the doctors for something else and mentioned it. They felt it and said it seemed fine.

Fast forward 12 months and it’s still there. I can’t tell if it’s bigger but it’s easier to find if that makes sense. I also get aching on that side of my neck / shooting pains. Every day.

Would it be ridiculous to go back? I hate going to the doctors and I’m always there lately (chronic health condition) but it is bothering me that it’s still hanging about.

Any positive stories welcome too! (Health anxiety)

Yes, go back and get it checked. The dr would rather you have it checked, and for it to be nothing, then not go back. People go back for far less. Also mentioned the other symptoms associated with it.

She has referred me for an ultrasound. Didn’t look happy when I told her it aches sometimes and I have constipation. Turns out they’re symptoms of lymphoma.

Definitely need positive stories now!!!

Sorry no stories to tell but hope you get your ultrasound appointment quickly and it comes back clear. Keep yourself busy over the next few days and try not to worry.
