iPhone 8 audio

Just upgraded from a 7 and the audio is terrible. I have to put my phone on loudspeaker to hear anyone. Anyone else have this issue?

I've had an 8 for 2 years and don't have any problems with it.

I assume you've checked your call volume settings? Is the phone brand new?

I have an iPhone 8 Plus, I've had it almost two years and the audio is fine.

Apart from the first night when DH called me and I couldn't hear a thing, then realised I'd kept the plastic wrapping on until my screen protector arrived in the post, and so the speaker at my ear had clear film over it

Reset it, usually sorts itself out xx

Have the worst luck with phones. Bought it off eBay

Genuine question - if it’s new, have you peeled the plastic sheet off the screen?

Only asking because I had the same rant 3 years ago when I got mine.... and that’s what it was!
