What do you do with your child's teeth when they fall out?

My daughter lost her first tooth yesterday and her tooth is in my jewellery box.

DH thinks I'm very strange for keeping it but I just can't seem to bring myself to throw it away.

I did used to have loads of them (4 DC) in my bedside table drawer all jumbled up, but I chucked them when we moved.

It is useful to have the odd one or two for incidents where they swallow the tooth or spit it down the drain and you can magically find it.
I also keep a bag of pound coins after DC1 lost a tooth late one night and we had to choose giving her a twenty pound note or about 13p in coppersHmmGrin

TrueFriend 😂 what a cracking idea, definitely parenting goals.

A pity to keep them hidden away in a drawer. Why not fashion your child’s teeth into an attractive and unique necklace?
