Apologies for DM link, but in the interests of science and tired mums, I felt it my duty to inform mumsnetters of a need for 20 female volunteers, willing to spend 5 days in a waterbed.

Urgh it sounds horrible.

The toilet aspect would indeed be horrible.

Plus the bed baths, given that most Mumsnetters think that it is 'disgusting' to go more than about 12 hours without showering and a full change of clothes.

But 5 days of sleep? I could sacrifice my dignity for 5 days of sleep.

Imagine how wrinkly you'd be though after the 5 days.

Aside from the toileting and showering aspects. My back gets shitty after being in bed for 8 hours nevermind 5 whole days.

When DD was small, yes. Now no.

Hmm, head tilted at 6 degrees - not good. But so much sleep.

If they want teenagers, 12/13 year old DD would be in like shot.

They also want to test them in a centrifuge- I struggle with the teacup ride!

Genuine question though: how are they defining 'women'?
