I tend to have BBC Breakfast on in the mornings.
Dave and Sally on the cruise ship moored off Japan have provided a nice story to really pad out the Coronavirus story.
Now that Dave and Sally have tested positive for the virus we are hearing of their distress of possibly being separated ‘after fifty years which is unbearable’ and a blow-by-blow account of getting their swab.
Cue Dave’s son and daughter in law being interviewed in the studio.
Surely this has gone too far? In editorial terms, I mean (I have nothing against Dave and Sally) but AIBU to think the BBC have actually lost the plot in terms of what counts as national and international news headlines?
