Morgz. On YouTube. Why does he say dollars?!

OK, when it comes to Morgz there's a million things I could rant about.

Why why on earthdoes this ENGLISH family say dollars when they are shopping in English shops, spending pounds

The kids love them and I will admit they make me laugh sometimes but it drives me crazy!

They're at the poundshop and they're calling it the dollarstore

Maybe the audience is majority US-based?

That would annoy me too. But youtube has a very American culture.
My kids say trash can because of it

I have huge admiration from them making so much money from these videos but they are absolutely nutty 🤣

Everyone on Youtoob has talk American.

Lots more potential followers in the US than over here - and that means potentially more sponsorship/product placement, as they're appealing to the larger market.

For example, if I wanted to become a YT home cooking type of person, I wouldn't use Imperial measurements - I'd use cups (with a metric conversion in the blurb), as that would appeal foremost to the most lucrative market, rather than putting them off because it's weird old fashioned British measures that aren't the same as US ones.

I'd piss off a few older UK viewers, but, frankly, they aren't the people who advertisers are going to make millions off and I won't make money from ads or 'partnerships' on the basis of a handful of 50 year olds earning fifteen grand a year - the wealthy American homemaker is the one I need to appeal to for advertisers to be interested.

YABU to watch it in the first place.

I'm just thankful that the Morgz/Share the Love/Youtub3 Family phase seems to have passed.

The fake 'happenings', over the top 'fear' and stupid pranks were so annoying.

I hate this family with an absolute passion. That is all.
