What do I do specific steps

My ex has submitted a specific steps order requiring me to place our 2 year old in nursery so she can start her education to prepare her for school. He has said he will not contribute to the cost. I don't need to work and so don't need her to go. Will the court make me pay and send her to nursery? He was abusive and is still trying to find ways for me to spend less time with her.

That's absolutely ridiculous.
Do you have a CAO? He is free to put her in nursery and fund it during his time.
Do you have SS involvement?

I can't see a court ordering this if it's not an urgent requirement.
I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I would sit back & allow him to take it to court,
Your defence is child is with mother, until 15 hours free nursery starts.
If father wants nursery before you are happy to oblige but father will need to fund nursery space

In that way you are not being obstructive to his demands, willing to use government initiatives to childhood rearing

Thank you so much everyone. I've been worried but feel much more reassured now.
