Finally not watching through my fingers

Aibu or is it so much nicer watching Ruth and Eamonn on TM? Awkward and cringey to see all week with whatever the hell is going on with PS.
Ruth seems almost giddy today, hoping they’ll take over full time.

They said they’d be on all next week (half term) so am hoping P & H not back after that..they can’t be, surely?!

You don't have to watch it...there are other channels, catch up, even the off button? why would you sit through crappy daytime tv that you don't even enjoy?

See I don't like E&R at all so I don't watch on a Friday and won't watch next week. So much easier than watching crappy TV that I don't enjoy. I've instead spent the morning watching crappy TV that I do enjoy! Much better.

I like This morning, but only really when they’re on 🤷‍♀️I work afternoon so morning is my slow time with my baby, I’d like something entertaining not awkward and possibly dodge

I find Eamonn and Ruth really annoying, I just don’t watch it on a friday. Maybe do the same but the other days? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Afraid I find it really painful to watch Eamonn and his treatment of Ruth. He constantly undermines her. If my husband shushed me and mocked me as much as he does her in private, let alone in tele, we'd be divorced a long time ago.

I've heard he's a really lovely man but I just can't abide his treatment of Ruth. I cringe for her.

They often have half terms and stuff off. It doesn't mean anyone is leaving.
Actually like having a change on Fridays but not bothered really either way because I don't watch it that avidly. I wish there was something better on and often just find something else on catch up or something.

I like Ruth on her own but Ruth always seems so awkward on TM compared to other shows and Eamonn is a dick to her, which is infuriating to watch.

You’re not wrong, I caught a few mins yday when they were presenting the spin the wheel game and they literally bickered the whole way through it, Eamon picking holes in everything Ruth said and lots of snark.
Is Eamon just in a permanently bad mood or does he hate Ruth now? It was cringey to say the least
