I’ve name changed for this as it could be quite outing.

Firstly, please do know I’m not one to live my life in fear and would usually carry on as normal but I’m pregnant and this one feels like it might be getting a bit too close to home.

Would you be worried about being in the same place as someone who has been in the same building as a person diagnosed with Coronavirus? I do not believe they had direct contact.

Anyone?

Hi op- I voted YABU as I note you say that you don’t believe they have been in close contact. From everything I’ve been reading over the last few days, it’s close contact that is concerning ( re the case over the doctors who have it for example ) and you say you’re in the same building as someone, not in close contact yourself? I would say it’s highly unlikely you’re at any more risk than usual.

@CuriousCapricorn thanks, that’s actually reassuring.

I was reading that it’s spread by coughing, and the nhs website says not to cough into your hand. This got me worried they could have touched the same surface, like lift buttons and then my colleague could do the same thing in our office.

If I wasn’t pregnant, I wouldn’t have given it a second thought.

The risk radius seems to be 2 metres. It likely survives on surfaces for a short while but not for long
I think you'll be fine

There is a small sample case of pregnant women. The link was posted on a sensible thread and is from the Lancet.
it looks like all was fine.

I would still use hand gel when out, and wash hands as often as possible. The hand gel needs to be 70% alcohol.
