Feeling crap after job interview

New to here, probably posting in the wrong place...

I had a job interview Monday, and I've heard nothing, I didn't ask when I'd hear by.... I felt awards very positive, gave scenarios when ask, answered questions with confidence. Did my research. Was buzzing when I came out. And heard nothing , feeling rather gutted, had a shit day again at work so that's not helped !
Just venting as I can't sleep

I wouldn’t expect to hear until this coming Monday. They may have had more than one day of interviews.

Forgot to add-fingers crossed for you!

It's only Tuesday!! They may not have even interviewed everyone yet.

What level of job is it? In my current job it took 2.5 months from my initial email to an interview, a further 2 months for a verbal job offer, and another 2 months to agree a start date.

In my company (international) most appointments, even seemingly junior, would require some form of management sign off. That could be an approval from someone outside of the UK, which can take a while.

Hope you have good news soon

Aw I'm sorry to hear that. Employers can be really shitty.
My dh has just got a job after 18 months of being unemployed and I lost count of the times he came home from an interview being convinced he would be offered the job and they didn't even bother to reply.

I tell you that not to depress you but just to say don't take it personally. You may have performed really well but you don't know specifically what they are looking for, whether they had any internal candidates and were just going through the motions, whether someone walked in after you with more relevant experience or whether you will still be offered the job.

I think you should be entitled to feedback but assuming you mean that the interview was yesterday rather than a week ago then you might just need to be patient. If it was last week then i would follow up to ask for feedback.

Good luck with your job hunt.

Thank you , they were only interviewing Monday, the receptionist told me they had 3others after me, she said 'you should hear quite quick' although she is not linked to that department.....I think she was just being kind

You should hear back from them whether successful or not, the NHS are pretty good at letting you know either way.
