I wasn't particularly impressed at the beginning of this relationship but I think they deserve a chance. I hope the kids are doing well and always feel loved in their dad's new life. Aibu?

@stormciarathegale there has been a very interesting and poignant documentary on them tonight about the death of his first wife. You sound horrible.

It was a very emotional watch OP. I think he's very lucky to have her. I became a SM to 4 when I was 27, and it's a bloody hard role with little guidance. Me and DH watched the documentary together and it really helped us both to see we weren't alone..
