Has anyone seen the latest alexa advert.

So a bratty teenage girl strops upstairs when she get home from playing football.. and the mum gets woken up by a noise outside at 4.30am.. Looks out and sees her daughter practicing by kicking the ball against a wall..

Does the mum tell the inconsiderate little git to get back to bed.. Oh no. She smiles indulgently and switches the garden floodlights on to let her carry on..

Aibu to think that if I was the mother I would have come out and gone bloody batshit for such twatty behaviour. 🙄

I havent seen the ad but if it was me it would have gone something along the lines of "get back to bed! You've woken me up and probably the neighbours aswell"

Haven't seen it, but if this was my neighbor a bucket of water for both mother and daughter would be in place.

I did a google search the other day to see whether anyone else was talking about what a batshit advert it is - bizarrely I couldn't find any comment on it.

I thought I was the only one who found it ridiculous and nonsensical.

It’s an outhouse wall and maybe they’re very rich and live in the countryside with no disturbable (I think I made that word up!) neighbours.

I've looked at all the nuances in the various components of the advert and haven't spotted any hidden meaning, but could be my lack of perception.

Just seen this on the TV (Gogglebox ads) and my first comment was "glad I'm not their neighbour!"

I hate this ad too. Last time I saw it I said to DH 'well that's a sure fire way to piss off your neighbours'.

I'm home! I bloody hate this advert. If it were my DD she'd be inside in short shrift and apologising to the neighbours in the morning.
