Had a child round for a playdate who brought with her fleas. I saw one on her. Now our house is being sprayed and I'm worried about the chemicals and my baby. I'm so annoyed. Am I being reasonable to never have him over again, I kind of feel sorry for the child

Are you sure it wasn’t a bedbug?

Same colour as fleas, slightly larger but still small. Much more likely to be found on a clothing item such as a jacket than a flea would.

Grow up OP.

Learn to write a post before throwing your stupid ideas around.

As pp has said ... a child invested in fleas will teach you an awful lot if information - good on them. A child infested with fleas .... well there’s actually no such thing.

Also as pp has said, so the child has changed from a girl to a boy in a couple of sentences??

Any household can get fleas ... from pets or otherwise - they can be brought in by you op from grass or garden. No way OP - YOU have fleas, not the child [swoon] [swoon] what on earth will your poor baby do?? It has a parent invested in fleas ... or is that infested ... Grin Grin

Agree wit SewItGoes regarding a flea hitching a ride on your foot. When one of my late DM's cats had fleas,we kept getting flea bites on the tops of our feet and ankles, and on several occasions I witnessed a flea on the top of my foot.
