DS having hpv injection tomorrow

My son is having his injection tomorrow at school and I can’t find much info online about it. Has anyone on here any experience? Should I give him paracetamol before school?

That’s the current year 8s though OP, not older boys.

DS had his done for free at our GP. He was fine afterwards. No redness or swelling, no side effects.

It's not just because boys can be carriers.

HPV causes penile cancer in men. It's not as common as cervical cancer, but it might be a good way to make sure any boy getting the jab knows that it's not pure generosity toward girls -- and that any boys who identify as gay know that they should still get vaccinated.

DS had his before Christmas with no issues whatsoever.

It was a non event in this household. No pain. Forgotten in 5 minutes. Perhaps ever so slightly stiff arm the next day?
