To not understand scented body lotion?

My first ever AIBU (slightly too excited by that) but just that really. I absolutely cannot stand that if I want to buy a body wash gift set I have to also have the body lotion. I do not want to smell like - mango, grapefruit, or some kind of liquorice bloody allsort.

Also any ideas what I can actually do with said body lotions?

send them to a charity shop toiletries sell quite well in ours especially new unopened ones there will be people who like them

Body wash gift set is usually body wash, lotion and maybe a poofy mitt thing surely? Can’t you just buy the body wash on its own?

You could donate them to women’s shelters.
