Still peeved this morning.
at work all day yesterday and was really looking forward to the special Saturday night treat I'd been saving - a chocolate chip short bread biscuit, you know the nice big chunky sort.
So after getting in, making tea and putting DD to bed, I go to the cupboard only to find DH has eaten it!!!
So AIBU to make the CF replace it this morning (despite the storm:))))

Send him out as soon as possible. He deserves to get hit by a blown away wheelie bin for that.

Idontkowmyname · 09/02/2020 06:26

LTB 🤣

BillHadersNewWife · 09/02/2020 06:55

I can't get over people saving one biscuit for their "Saturday night treat"

ONE biscuit?? OP....YABU for not having more biscuits to hand but he's unreasonable for eating it too.

InfiniteSheldon · 09/02/2020 07:12

How upsetting we have separate treat boxes as A I can't be trusted and B I can't be trusted but also when I'm being good and portioning out my treats I can extremely upset if they disappear.

FrankieGoesToLiverpool · 09/02/2020 07:20

@Ponoka7 I am howling at your comment.

Send the little bugger out!

chocolatemademefat · 09/02/2020 08:20

One biscuit? You deserve a whole packet - one biscuit is madness! Bulk buy.

rbmilliner · 09/02/2020 08:31

Do you think I can get away with sending him posh cake shop a bus tide away rather than the tescos down the road [big grin]

Clangus00 · 09/02/2020 08:35

That’s just plain rude!

rbmilliner · 09/02/2020 08:39

Yes @Clangus00 it was a really nice biscuit (or a least I think it would have been:))

OP posts:
rbmilliner · 09/02/2020 08:40

Sorry @Clangus00 should have been a 'but' in there, 'but it was a really biscuit'

OP posts:
Clangus00 · 09/02/2020 08:52

That’s even sadder.

knightlight · 09/02/2020 09:11

Yeh I'm sorry but that is unforgivable, has he always been like this OP? I'm not sure I could move on from this.

Wink
ottermadness · 09/02/2020 09:12

With you OP, I’d probably cry.

rainstormsunshine · 09/02/2020 09:28

This is my first LTB, but I feel it's your only option GrinWink

rbmilliner · 09/02/2020 09:51

Well I've learnt never to share a dessert with him @knightlight if I want to get any but I think what hurt the most was the offer of a by far inferior custard cream - how do you come back from that ?
😉😉😉

I’m pregnant and my husband ate a bit of my chocolate bar the other day. I nibble. He takes huge chomping bites so it was over half-gone. It really, really pissed me off. I told him in a shocked, upset voice. He bought me another one immediately.

Send him out immediately.

knightlight · 09/02/2020 17:48

@rbmilliner I think suggesting a custard cream in place of a shortbread clearly shows that he doesn't respect you or the relationship. Pack his bags.

BarbaraofSeville · 09/02/2020 17:54

People saying it's 'one biscuit' obviously don't realise the type, they're very rich and have more than 300 calories each, so one is a decent treat.

YANBU to be disappointed OP, what is it with all these greedy selfish men hoovering up all the treats?

TheNoiseHurts · 09/02/2020 17:56

That would not be lighthearted in my house.

I would be throwing a wobbler.

I had some cheese and chive pop crisps that I love. I left just enough for lunch the next day.
Got there and DH had eaten them. I was so annoyed.
He went out to get my some more and he came back with salt and vinegar Walkers.

Wtf?!

His defence was "the packet was green"

Yeah! Indicating salt and vinegar! It's not 1987 man!

JKScot4 · 09/02/2020 17:59

You saved and were looking forward to
a single biscuit?
Is this some weird boast about your wonderful self control?
What a miserable way to live, being that controlling.

rbmilliner · 09/02/2020 18:27

Sorry if my eating habits offend you @jkscot4 but at the title states it's a lighted joke. However biscuits there are is irrelevant really. No need to get judgemental.
