Just that really.
I grew up in a violent, segregated world. Not my choice and probably not yours either. The repercussions are still felt generations later.
The divisions hurt all of my generation and subsequent ones who live here.
TBH, looking back, I cant see how it benefitted anyone outside of the political class.
AIBU to think that if we look at what we have in common and vote accordingly, we are better? Stronger?
But if we focus on the differences, we will always be split? After all, as much as i love my DC, DP and Dsibs, we all have proper good reasons to be different. And they are important, but we are definitely better together, talking about them.
