How is this possible?

DD left her phone in a shop today. She realised as she was walking home and went straight back but no luck.

I called the shop and nothing handed in.

So I cancelled the sim at 4.45pm. No calls or texts can be sent from then until we unblock it.

But... at 5.30pm her phone called DH's phone.

AIBU to wonder how this is possible? It's definitely not been unblocked Confused.

(When we call her number, it says 'this person is not accepting calls at this time, please try later'.)

Sometimes it takes a call or two to click. It does for my phone anyway.
Unblock and call them, they may be trying to return it.

Is your DH down as her Emergency call contact in her medical information?

Unblock & call her number, as pp said someone's probably trying to get in touch to hand it back
