Ok so I have a 12 week old baby
I had my period 18th January night time had very very bad thrush just before
I started the pill on 19th January
I had unprotected sex on day 4 of my period
Last week 28th January I had sex and bled same thing happened tonight.

Could I be pregnant I’m freaking out I’ve never bled after sex.

I doubt it but I do think you should see the GP to make sure you've got no post-birth issues that may have been missed earlier.

I had a c section so I don’t think that would cause the bleeding

You may still have blood in your uterus or vagina that’s been dislodged by sex. I bled a lot six months after my c section after I went to an exercise class, stomach crunches were not a great idea! Anyway, it may be that?

Hopefully I finish my pill on Sunday so I will test them to be sure and ring doc on Monday

My first thought is that your thrush hasn't resolved itself. I'd see your GP and get a swab done OP. Abnormal bleeding can definitely be a symptom. Your DH should treat himself for thrush as well.
It doesn't sound like pregnancy to me. But test anyway. Do see your GP about the possibility of thrush.

Was it this? fluconazole? I hope they gave you this (an anti-fungal) and not flucloxacillin, which is an anti-biotic and can give you thrush.

Lockheart · 08/02/2020 15:32

If you are a woman of childbearing age who has had sex then yes, you could be pregnant. You need to take a test or see a doctor.

I’d see your Gp just to be sure all is well

Fluconazole can make birth control pills less effective. Ask your doctor about using non hormonal birth control (condom, diaphragm with spermicide) to prevent pregnancy while taking fluconazole for more than 1 dose. ... Do not use this medication without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.
