Currently re-watching the Dr Who DVDs and I keep going all weak-kneed and quivery like a teenager Anyone else or am I just a sad hormonal woman?!

Very concious of hijacking here, so won't go on, but in a nutshell: literally just come out of horrific situation with his DS's mother(like, a couple of weeks previously & still sleeping in his office as had nowhere to live). History of jumping from disasterous relationships into new ones straight away, being fucked up & wrecking emotional havoc. Wanted to stand back for a little while to make it work properly with me. So, fingers crossed. Looking good so far

Anyway, back to talking about knobs...

TheMoistWorldOfSeptimusQuench · 02/09/2007 23:15

Yes, well he's a writer. And is writing another book. And our first date with the DCs is apparently going to feature in it. Weird!

TheMoistWorldOfSeptimusQuench · 02/09/2007 23:17

Oooh Casanova was good.... ,sigh.

ZoMbIeTaLcY · 02/09/2007 23:19

Thanks Dior

ScottishMummy · 02/09/2007 23:26

me too = hope works out nicely

DaisyMOO · 02/09/2007 23:26

Y'know he didn't do much for me in Casanova. Well, not as much as in Dr Who.

Good luck with the new man Moist.

thanks too ScottishMummy

ProjectIcarusinhercar · 02/09/2007 23:27

DT - swoooon. He looks like he would be filthy. In a super slightly jokey quirky fashion, not in a serious way.

Not that I have thought about it much. At all. Really. Salacious

ScottishMummy · 02/09/2007 23:29

DT does not do it for me because he reads hairy McClary story book to me i forever associate with baby books

ProjectIcarusinhercar · 02/09/2007 23:32

Nope sorry, he is reading Hairy Maclary from Donaldsons Dairy and looking at me over the top of the book in a meaningful manner as in You are Getting It as soon as these kids are asleep.

Oh God. I need help

Clary · 02/09/2007 23:33

elastic woman it wasn't the accent on who do you think you are, for me it was the beard.

And the general prattishness

Lurrrrve him as Dr Who tho. He's not that young y'know. mid 30s IIRC which is fine by me lol.

(this is a running MN theme btw but don't let expat know as she thinks he looks like a monkey )

Elasticwoman · 03/09/2007 11:10

Yes I didn't like the beard either, even though I have been happily married to one for a quarter of a century. Which gives you a clue as to why DT is too young for me.

expatinscotland · 03/09/2007 11:13

YABU.

That weedy bloke's a minger extraordinnaire.

He's vile.

HonoriaGlossop · 03/09/2007 11:27

Expat, I LOVE your turn of phrase Agree with you.

saltire · 03/09/2007 11:35

Ooh he's lovely and as for the accent .

Cool you tube link.

Adam and the Ants and DT in one go.

Don't you ever
Don't you ever

I remembe rthat dance

expatinscotland · 03/09/2007 11:38

He's a munter, salty.

Honestly, there are much finer Scotsmen out there .

saltire · 03/09/2007 11:41

I know, I married one , and here's another one swoon

There's just something lovely about DT

NotAnOtter · 03/09/2007 11:42

he disgusts me
i would rather suck my own bits than have him suck his fingers at me

expatinscotland · 03/09/2007 11:50

I'm with Otter on this one!

And yes, Gerard much hotter than DT will ever be.

He just looks like he'd look better in drag.

Yuk.

saltire · 03/09/2007 11:57

I have to say I would choose Gerry first, he is gorgeous, but like I said DT just has something about him, can't quite put my finger on it!

mistypeaks · 03/09/2007 12:19

ooh he could put his finger on it . . . (sorry). I now love him even more knowing he reads Hairy Mclary. I love those books. Who is this Gerard Butler dude? Never seen him before - HOW have I missed that? Yum yum. I have a thing for scots I'm afraid (quite why I married an Essex boy I'll never know - apart from the fact he is well built - nudge nudge on the whole girth issue)

harpsichordcarrier · 03/09/2007 12:21

I have no idea about this hairymclary thing, is it a jackanory thing?
but it is segueing nicely into my own private little TennantWorld fantasy de jour....
thanks

ScottishMummy · 03/09/2007 12:23

mingmungus there is nothing about that manky clarty lookin gerry or his fingers that i want put upon me - eeeuggh wet boak
