To ask whether nausea with a cold is normal?

Hi, had the beginning of a cold yesterday and so was am a bit sniffly. Have woken up feeling nauseous and (tmi) have already done 2 poos and a lot of farts. Is this normal with a cold as it’s never happened to me before?

This sounds like the virus that has made its way around our family the last 2 weeks. First DS, then DD, then DH now me. Boo. All had cold symptoms along with nausea and general bad stomach. If it's any consolation, the others all felt lots better within 48 hours and now just have a lingering cough. I started yesterday so hoping to feel ok by tomorrow. Ginger biscuits help!
