@brownlilly I did sort of feel bad for her initially, as it seemed excessive as we all know she is vile....however she then started her awful racist/islamophobic/ableist sppech and my sympathy kind of fell away.

She didn't know she was being filmed. She'd just been flown to Prague and received an award for uniting people (how she fell for that!). She was talking to a small group that (she thought) liked her and thought she is a good person.

She could have had no better motivation to be decent and generous in her acceptance speech. Instead she said monsterous things, worse than her usual public comments. I think even most overt racists would be uncomfortable listening to that speech.

I used to assume she was just attention seeking, but I think she believes every word.

@brownlilly I agree with you. Although she is opinionated, and not that I agree with her at all. Are those who are laughing at her better than her for doing so? I think it sinks people down to her level to be honest. And I think that the whole notion of 'bullying' is lost when it comes to a pubic persona. Although bullies are bad, I wouldn't wish them to be bullied also.

I think she does believe what she says. I watched her on Big Brother and she said a few times that she was only picking on Alicia Douvall because she wasn't very intelligent. She said a few times that it was OK to persecute someone because they have a low intelligence score.
