Anyone work for Boots?

I know, I know. Posting for traffic.

Does anyone know how to access the Christmas savings scheme - where they take money directly from your wage and save it till the end of the year?

My line manager (who is new to the job and up to his eyeballs in it so I don't want to press him on the issue) hasn't even heard of it.

Extensive googling brings up nothing.

I'd like to make a start before it gets any further into the year, if anyone knows I'd really apprecoate it.

Can you not just save with the credit union?

You can have it deducted straight from your wages.

Is a credit union secure?

Phone your head office during your shift who will be able to give you information about it.

Credit union is 100% secure but it doesn't come out before you're paid, you have to set up a standing order but you could have it come out on the day your wages go in so you never notice it.

Boots must have a HR department. Can you call them?

I'm payroll administrator in my job and I run the savings scheme. Talk to payroll
