With regards to what? Do you mean Brexit?After 1 referendum and 2 general elections the UK parliament is finally implementing it. If you mean Scottish independence I don't think the SNP will ever stop asking.

Thing is, the electorate is constantly changing. If one never asks the public again then one will never know what the current leanings of the electorate currently are in order to serve them best.

I have no idea which particular ballfuckery the government is playing at currently that you're referring to however.
