To think Tracy Brabin should be able to wear what she wants ?

She's been the subject of criticism and vitriol all day about her dress, which she apparently wore to an earlier social event. She's a bright, lively and committed MP, who cares what she wears?

Go Tracy!

GinnyStrupac · 09/02/2020 06:25

Now £16,400 and 156 bids!

GinnyStrupac · 11/02/2020 09:57

£17,800 / 158 bids and counting!

GinnyStrupac · 13/02/2020 09:23

£18,500 and 168 bids. Finishes later today so there's still time for it to raise even more for a good cause.

I think Tracy might have to rethink her £3.48 p&p for delivery now.

GinnyStrupac · 14/02/2020 16:58

Bidding ended after 180 bids at £20,200.

What a fantastic amount for charity, and one in the eye for the trolls.

Well done, Tracy.

Saw her in parliament before the furore and thought not sure about that outfit. I didnt know then she had come from an event. However, she needs to be a bit better prepared in future. I'm quite sure she gets that now.

That said, she has certainly turned a negative to a positive and redeemed herself (if she ever needed redeeming) by auctioning off the dress and giving the proceeds to the guides I think. I don't think this indicates a sense of entitlement on her part.

Thank you for the update Ginny. Tracy, you played a blinder.
