To think no advert needs the F word in it? Especially in first 3 seconds.

My 6 year old hear the phrase "you better not fucking die on me" (or similar) shouted this morning on an advert on YouTube.

It's at the very start of the advert, so before the "skip" option.

I have all my ad/youtube settings so we don't get horror/violence. And she never watches YouTube unattended. And I had the remote ready to skip any advert anyway. But obviously not a chance with this and it's immediate swearing.

I'm sure you can't have profanity like that in an advert? it was for Diesel (the fashion brand) SS20 - just ridiculous.

If it matters we were watching a video about the Japanese shop at EPCOT as I'd been explaining to her how she can pick a pearl there and she wanted to see. So a family friendly travel video.

Who/how do I complain?

Don’t bother complaining in writing to YouTube, they won’t respond. If the advert comes on again, flag it or report it as inappropriate. If you do want to complain in writing, do it to Diesel themselves.
