This is correct, yes?

One is delicious and 'snappy' and the other is cloying and cloggy.

My 'H' bought be a giant Milky Bar and didn't understand my disappointment.

Things can appear to be the same, but an entirely different proposition (Watery cheap tomato - vile and powdery vs Baby Plum on the Vine - sweet and crunchy). I used this as an analogy but DH just looked Confused

Is this board invisible to people or something?

100% correct

RibenaMonsoon · 04/02/2020 14:13

You had me at milky bar! Never tried the big ones but I love the buttons.
Tempted to try the big one just so I can see what you mean.
Although I love milky bar so much I can't see the large one being a hardship.
Sorry I can't be of more help Wink

mytypeonpaper · 04/02/2020 14:13

Never seen a giant one!

Mulledwineinajug · 04/02/2020 14:20

Nestle. So no milky bar at all would be my preference, I’d pick another kind of white choc.

BarbaraofSeville · 04/02/2020 14:24

YANBU. But what you do want is Aldi white chocolate (5 small and importantly thin bars in a cardboard sleeve) with vanilla bits in it. Send 'H' out to get some of that to redeem himself.

VettiyaIruken · 04/02/2020 14:26

The little thin one is not as bad as the thick one but white chocolate is always claggy and far too sweet.

Yet, I always forget that and think how nice it would be to have one. So I get one then am bitterly disappointed.

I'd feel more sorry for myself if it wasn't for the fact I never learn.

You need to show you DP this:

The shape of choc does change it's taste

NRPDad · 04/02/2020 15:03

If I was him I'd tell you to buy your own next time.

SlightlyJaded · 04/02/2020 15:05

@GinDaddy eh?

Agree the Buttons are superb. Again though, thin.

Thick Milky-Anything is very disappointing.

Yanbu! I love a thin snappy bar of the stuff, as soon as it's a big dull fat bar the taste changes! I'm so glad I thought this was just me being a weirdo
