Oh and multi coloured ET biscuits!!!

DaisyLouB · 04/02/2020 21:39

Toffos- the assorted flavours. I remember my secondary school selling these in the vending machines in the early 90s

Rosachoc12 · 04/02/2020 21:40

And mars delight

PumpkinPie2016 · 04/02/2020 21:45

Vice Versas

I miss them so much!

wontletmelogin · 04/02/2020 21:51

Tesco did a fab ready meal that was pure filth. It was tomato pasta with dough balls in it topped with cheese. Nuked in the microwave, add more cheese, crispy onions and garlic mayo. The filthiest comfort food ever. Sorted out every hangover. I’m gonna try recreate it myself soon.

knightlight · 04/02/2020 21:53

Potato puffs - a crisp I haven't seen in ages - delicate little puffed square crisps - if you weren't careful you could end up with a bag of flakes. Beef flavour was best.

Also truly miss mars delights.

FizzyIce · 04/02/2020 21:56

Turkey twizzlers Blush
Loved these with lots of mayo

FizzyIce · 04/02/2020 21:57

and Hippo tots! They were the best fromage frais

Smelly50 · 04/02/2020 21:59

Modern sweet peanuts just taste of sugar . The old ones used be peanuty salty and sweet. Far superior

drumandthebass · 04/02/2020 22:00

Cabana choc bar

FizzyIce · 04/02/2020 22:01

@Itsallgonewoowoo oh I remember these , didn’t some of the money go towards a hedgehog charity ?

Disfordarkchocolate · 04/02/2020 22:03

The poster who mentioned Hanky Panky, I loved that so much. I've just been watching the Arthur Lowe advert for these, happy memories.

I also used to love some crisps that were thin and had little bubbles like a short strip of seaweed. I'd love to try them again.

Sparkesy · 04/02/2020 22:04

Percy Pig Rosy Noses.
Plumtious little pillows of sweetness

Megan2018 · 04/02/2020 22:05

In the 80’d there was this microwaveable cake pudding. It came in a box with 2 packets and magically turned into a synthetic vanilla sponge with a bright pinky red fake raspberry sauce. My brother and I LOVED this.
No doubt full of sugar and long banned e-numbers. I don’t know what it was called but it was bloody good.

Megan2018 · 04/02/2020 22:05

*80’s!

FloreanFortescue · 04/02/2020 22:06

Cheese and broccoli cuppa soup extras 💔

moonbells · 04/02/2020 22:08

I wish Batchelors still did Beanfeast, original flavour. Now you can only find the Bolognaise version and I can't stand it. If you wanted tomato in your soya mince, you could just squirt tomato puree into the plain one, but no, they discontinued it instead and gave you Hobson's choice.

Rumba bars. Nobody ever remembers them.

Elle7rose · 04/02/2020 22:09

McDonald's pizza from the 1990s or the version of chocolate donuts that they used to make.

Caramel78 · 04/02/2020 22:12

@PumpkinPie2016 vice versas have been back for a couple of years now x

Fuse bar and proper Milky Way bars before they made the middle white!

AlpacaGoodnight · 04/02/2020 22:17

Tudor pickled onion crisps!
Also liked the spring onion ones and had forgotted about prawn cocktail wotsits until a pp mentioned them!

ThroughTheRoses · 04/02/2020 22:18

Mackintosh's Golden Cup chocolate bar.

PhilSwagielka · 04/02/2020 22:18

Sainsbury's used to do this amazing Bavarian smoked cheese with bits of chilli in it. I couldn't get enough of it when I was at uni.

Bobblebop · 04/02/2020 22:19

Echo bars!
And this is niche but Tesco used to do a Curried Fruit Chutney when I was a kid that as a family we loved, then one day it disappeared Sad my dad returned to the shelf for probably about a year ‘just in case’ Grin

Edwintheboyscout · 04/02/2020 22:23

Whoops just posted an answer on an entirely unrelated thread eek sorry. Was attempting to say - as others have already mentioned - Spira bars, Pacer mints, Tootie Fruities and then their lesser known cousins Tootie Minties. I also really liked the Cadbury Ritz biscuit affairs that were around quite recently then vanished.A good salty / sweet combo.
