Homeless person and two dogs

Just walked past a homeless person with two dogs. One a v expensive dog. Aibu to wonder how they afford it?

First, it was that a homeless person shouldn't have 2 dogs, especially as one was v expensive. Then, a homeless person became the homeless and they. Then, the dogs weren't theirs at all, they had probably stolen or borrowed the dogs in order to get more money from begging. And then, they shouldn't have a dog or in fact any pets at all. And finally, they weren't even homeless at all, they had nice cosy homes to go to, they were frauds and beggars. The thread has sunk to new depths while I have been away, and without any help from the OP.

Someone will come along soon and insist they also have a giant tv at home, or at least under the blanket in the doorway.

Well it's more then possible he had the dog before he became homeless. However in our city there has been an organised gang using expensive designer dogs to enhance begging revenue. They have a string of camper vans that were parked in our local area and the dogs are kept in trailers and were taken in to the city centre each day to sit on the street then returned to their trailers each evening. They've moved on to a neighbouring city now as our local SSPCA were on their case they

Re the feeding and vet care though our local vet school students run clinics for pets of homeless and vulnerable along with services from many other charities
