Aibu to want a job making documentaries

I am nothing that special but I love people
Would love to be on tv making documentaries

I'm old now though at 27
I've been on a documentary about my dependence on opiates

I want to be on tv.. I don't know why

It's probably because I would love to meet interesting people and share their story

Is 27 too old and have I missed the boat? Aibu to think I have what it takes? I have two children and I am married .. how dan I crack it .. do you need to have contacts?

Why don't you study journalism - seems to be the background of most documentary presenters, but of course getting qualifications would only be the first step. You'd need to get an excellent reputation as a journalist before you'd be invited in front of camera!

Thousands of people would love a TV career - very very few achieve anything in that field, so have realistic expectations.
