AIBU to take DC with me when I have my nose pierced?

I work term time only, so won't be working this upcoming half term. I don't have any childcare available, as ex is working. I've wanted to have my nose done for a while now, AIBU to just take the dcs with me? The place is literally 10 mins from my house. They're 4,6 and 8.

depends where your having it done.

Chickychoccyegg · 01/02/2020 11:50

you would need to check if they allow children. If you're getting pierced in a tattoo place, i dont think they allow under 18's, they don't round my way anyway, and imagine its a general rule all over.

@Samcro it's a tattoo and piercing parlour

As long as they’re well behaved they can just sit in the waiting room just like any other appointment? I don’t see the issue, you’ll be in and out quick as a flash.

Strongmummy · 01/02/2020 11:52

Doubt they’ll allow children in as no insurance

PawPatrolMakesMeDrink · 01/02/2020 11:53

they may not allow it, what if you faint/have a funny do. Then who’s looking after the kids?
My surgery couldn’t let me have my coil out and have DS with me in case I took a turn.

Ring them and check

Their staff won’t be able to babysit them in the waiting room and they might not allow young children inside the piercing room.

The fact that you have 3 kids with you could sway a decision to say no to bringing them inside as more unpredictable vs 1.

I went to get a piercing when DD was about 6 months old & wasn't allowed into the piercing place with her as they're not insured.

A good place - ie, a place you would want to have a piercing done - would not allow you to bring children in.
