Posting for traffic!

DH and I will be in Manchester on a Sunday for the theatre. I’d like to take DH for a nice meal afterwards as a surprise as it’s close to his birthday. DH is pescatarian so nothing with too limited a choice but we’re open minded. I’d like something upmarket but with a relaxed atmosphere.

Does anyone in the area have any good recommendations? I’m looking on TripAdvisor but it’s good to have real opinions.

Tattu just off spinning fields is really good quite a fancy place but chilled atmosphere.

I’ve not been but a pescatarian friend loves Randall and Aubin which is a seafood restaurant

Tapas at El Gato Negro on King Street is excellent.
China town, lots of restaurants, could be an option.

Thanks everyone! I think I’m going to book Tattu, it’s close to the theatre and looks great. We have one in Leeds near us but have never tried it.
