Weird pain after blood test

Hi. Feel stupid writing this as it seems like nothing. But I had a blood test on Wednesday and since then I have a weird pain in the site of the needle

It just feels like, you know when you take a plaster off and it pulls at the hairs? I just get a feeling like that every so often when I move my arm. Obviously not actually a plaster on it. Am I overthinking it or could it be infected? Had hundreds of blood tests and never had this? So strange

I had something like this but really sharp and burning, like a wasp sting. Went to GP, who said, to paraphrase; 'ah yes, that's blood-test needle nicking your vein and making it hurt-itis'.

An infection would probably give you a temperature and general unwell feeling but, if it 's worrying you, go to the GP.
