AIBU to worry about this? I can't tell if I'm being over cautious.

My DB lives and works in Hong Kong. He flew over last Monday for a family funeral which I couldn't attend as it was too much hassle flying over from Ireland with my 8 month DD.

Since Monday he's been around my parents and staying at our family home. He flies back tomorrow.

I am due to go to my parents at our family home with DD next Thursday to stay with them for 2 weeks and I have just realised that if my DB is infected it may not have shown up by then due to the 14 day incubation period. Now I'm having doubts about going at all.

What's best to do?

Symptoms would have presented in your brother by the time you’re due to go so you’d know if he was infected and in turn if he’d infected your parents

Do you mean Monday 27th or 20th?

He flew over on Monday 27th, so earlier this week.

And you're due to fly over on the sixth? Including his twelve hour flight it would be twelve days since your brother was potentially exposed while in Hong Kong so you'd probably have a fair idea as to whether or not he was infected.

Personally, I would still go.
