I have two really close friends who I speak to on WhatsApp daily. Some friends who I don’t see as often who are probably more acquaintances now actually. I don’t speak to anyone from my uni days now Sad

I do work 3 days a week. I like my colleagues but we aren’t friends. I haven’t met anyone at any babygroups or playgroups. I go to them for DDs benefit.

I met a few mums when on maternity leave (I didn’t do NCT which I regret). I occasionally meet up with one of them.

I am pregnant with DD2 and I want to meet people but I have no idea how?

I’m nice although I’m quiet. I don’t know where I’m going weong

I don't think you are doing anything wrong. I found maternity leave horribly isolating.

I've made four good friends in the last 10 years, one from NCT, one was a next door neighbour who was widowed, one of the school run mums at primary and the mum I share school run with now ds is at senior school.

But it takes time, people are so busy and stressed.

That’s just it, I felt like a right loser on maternity leave Sad
