So just before Christmas MIL kicked off because whenever me and my partner go out it’s my mam that has that kids. I wasn’t 100% comfortable, I don’t even think I am with my own Mam but she’s probably the highest my trust reaches. So we agree that she can watch the children next night out, the night comes and we’re all ready to go out. MIL turns up with her boyfriend, I’ve never met this man before! My partner knew I wasn’t happy so shushed me out the door to avoid me upsetting his mam. I’ve said that if she’s going to bring her boyfriend (man I don’t know) when she baby sits then she won’t be watching them again. My partner thinks I’m being ridiculous and if his mam trusts him enough to bring him I should to I said no I don’t give a fuck if the queen herself can vouch for this man if I don’t know him I’m not leaving him in my house with my kids. Am I being unreasonable?
