You definitely need to talk to her. Explain that next time she is parked in 1 you are available to give her lifts wherever she needs to go. I mean you would be, wouldn't you? For the sake of your millions of avid 'viewers'?

ahem for future diagram makers to place a copyright symbol is basically
(c) with some id (your users names should do) & the date (that should put the kibosh on daily fail because if they print it than - you have declared copywrite & they have to get your permission)

I've spent the entire afternoon and evening reading both threads and this has to be my favourite parking drama ever. We're moving soon from a CPZ area with permits and not enough doves for everyone to a small village where our house will have a drive large enough for about 5 cars! Everyone else except new NDN I think parks on the road. I aspire to be like OP and have thread upon thread of batshit B ladies and gentlemen to write about! I do hope my new neighbours don't disappoint.

I hate to be a party pooper, but really the newspaper diagram, they made their own and asserted copyright, plus used OP’s diagram with a Mumsnet copyright.

Basically, they played by the rules.

I’m not sure that asserting a copyright on Mumsnet for diagrams would work. I’m not legal and haven’t followed through the logic, but I’m pretty certain Mumsnet asserts the right to use any forum content as their own property.

Meanwhile, I was serious about crowdfunding parking lessons for Mrs B. (Well, not so serious that I would set it up.)

She clearly has an inability to park when near other cars, a blame mentality for cars legally parking to prevent her own parking, and—yes—an unsupported sense of entitlement and knowledge of law regarding the whole 1/2 thing.

I really feel like getting a t-shirt made, with "Yeah, but is it touching?" on the front. Then wait for the knowing winks and nods from fellow mnetters when I wear it around town!

I really need you to get Mrs K properly onside OP. Think of the fun you could have...
