Started a new thread on the off chance () that something funny might happen in my street later. Maybe around 10pm...

Diagram below for the handful of people in the country that haven't printed it off yet...

OP, I really think you may have to detain Friend so that her car is there all night. Lock her in the loft if you have to!

Our Stranger Car has gone, snuck off under cover of darkness without me noticing.

originalcatlady · 02/02/2020 16:54

B parked next to Strange Car.

She went to knock on K (thought she was coming here first!)
"Can you move your car please?"
"Why?"
"Because there's nowhere for me to park."
"Oh."
Closes door.

Mrs K we love you!

B has been known to wait for my friend until last midnight to reclaim her space. Bit pointless when she goes out at 5am all this week.

It's the small things that make us so happy

SuzieSunshine · 02/02/2020 17:00

Oh Superb!!

SuzieSunshine · 02/02/2020 17:03

Does your friend live far from you OP? Could she not get a cab home and leave her car in your road overnight just to add to Mrs B's not far off internal combustion?

Gooseysgirl · 02/02/2020 17:05

Excellent!!! I bloody love Mrs K who clearly couldn't give a fiddlers fuck 🤣

TeetotalKoala · 02/02/2020 17:07

Mrs. K. You are magnificent! She expects K, who was there first, to move her car onto a different street, so that she can park there instead?! I mean, I know she does, I understand this. I just can't comprehend how someone could be so entitled.

sunshinesupermum · 02/02/2020 17:13

Mrs K is a STAR!

sunshinesupermum · 02/02/2020 17:16

OP your friend really, really has to stay overnight now. Where has Mrs B ended up for the time being?

GruciusMalfoy · 02/02/2020 17:32

Mrs K is the hero your street needs. But what is going to happen next?!

originalcatlady · 02/02/2020 17:46

It goes X, Strange Car, B. She's MILES from home!

Irrelevant if friend leaves, she can't get into 2 while K and D are either side

I am so happy Smile

AriadnesFilament · 02/02/2020 17:57

@Pritchyx So everyone who wants to know more about my neighbours and their musical cars - the two cars owned by the grandson are showing as no tax or insurance. I know what I’m off to do now well, it’s your duty isn’t it.

AriadnesFilament · 02/02/2020 17:58

Mrs K deserves something in the honours list. Seriously, an absolute hero, fighting a valiant rearguard action on behalf of all put upon residents everywhere.

TheMobileSiteMadeMeSignup · 02/02/2020 18:00

Mrs K deserves an invitation for wine and nibbles I think, OP.

EntropyBanana · 02/02/2020 18:03

B puts me strongly in mind of Betsey Trotwood:

"My aunt, to my great alarm, became in one moment rigid with indignation, and had hardly voice to cry out, "Janet! Donkeys!"
Upon which, Janet came running up the stairs as if the house were in flames, darted out on a little piece of green in front, and warned off two saddle-donkeys, lady-ridden, that had presumed to set hoof upon it; while my aunt, rushing out of the house, seized the bridle of a third animal laden with a bestriding child, turned him, led him forth from those sacred precincts, and boxed the ears of the unlucky urchin in attendance who had dared to profane that hallowed ground. . . . "

Pritchyx · 02/02/2020 18:08

@BiscuitBarrels indeed it is, but considering I’m off-duty, the faff isn’t worth the headache whilst I’m off. So I’ve reported it anonymously to 101 and the DVLA. My two neighbours have done the same.

I’d be sat there laughing if they’re clamped or removed this week. I’m off this week so I can sit watching and laughing at them with my cuppa tea and biscuits Grin.

A lady further up had a right go at them earlier for parking like absolute twunts outside her house too!

Shefliesonherownwings · 02/02/2020 18:09

Where is C??

AriadnesFilament · 02/02/2020 18:17

@Pritchyx that’s even better 😂😂😂

originalcatlady · 02/02/2020 18:17

Hasn't been seen since Saturday. She does this. She's very odd.

The K's are fab! Mr K for his parking and Mrs K for her refusal to kowtow to B.

Sophielt90 · 02/02/2020 18:26

This has kept me thoroughly entertained this week! x

Ineedanap90 · 02/02/2020 19:07

Go on Mrs K we love you! Op I think you should go and knock on K's door and just say 'about your car...' 'well done!'.. 'car for some wine and nibbles whilst we watch Bs head explode?' I just know B will try and manouver into space 2 I can't wait for the update.. I would say I can't believe she actually knocked in K's door.. But I can.. She is that entitled. Anymore happening?

WitchQueenofDarkness · 02/02/2020 19:25

@EntropyBanana Nice Cranford reference!
