To hate being a cleaner. How can I quit?

I've been cleaning for a year now. I hate it. Money is bad, customers are terrible and the actual work is draining.

I've been a sahm for 4 years and my highest qualification is 1 year at university. My partner is moving up in his career despite having no formal qualifications. I'm resentful and feel I should be happy for him.

I've been looking at apprenticeships but I feel I'm too old (27) without relevant experience to apply.

I don't know where to go from here. I don't want to clean until my last days.

Hey OP, from the additional details supplied I think you'd actually be great for one of our apprenticeship schemes. I've PM'd you a link.

Sometimes doing a bit of volunteering work can open doors within companies

I don't want to do a degree and would rather do a degree apprenticeship as I wont have to pay back for tuition. The degree I did start is in an unrelated subject.

AAT, yes heard of it. But was advised that I get an office job then get sponsored by employer. Can't go far with just the qualification.

I've looked at volunteering. Really hate the ads that ask for professional experiences and wonder if they get any interest.
